Project history

Unique trials craft to test radar, noise and IR signature-reduction techniques. Rigid-sidewall catamaran with bow and stern flexible air seals. External hull was shaped in flat planes and coated with radar-absorbent material. The missile launchers were buried below decks amidships and TT exists the stern. The 40mm gun was placed aft.
