Project history
Reportedly the first was delivered in 1983, the second in 1988. May not be assigned to the ROKN proper. Photos show a broad hull, a bulbous bow sonar installation, and a small sail incorporating a folding snorkel mast. There is a single periscope. Are supported by the tender Dadohae (ASL 50).
