Project history

These boats of the 1906 fiscal year were closely modelled on G137. The significant break between bridge and forecastle made the bridge very wet from sea state 6 upwards and hindered the operation of both guns and torpedoes.

Naval service

T138 was mined in the North Sea 7.7.1918. S143 foundered 3.8.1914 after boiler explosion but later salvaged and repaired.
