Ship project history: In 1938 two submarines of advanced Orzeł class were ordered in France, their basic difference from a prototype consisted in abandoning from main gun in favour of the second AA MG. Building was begun in 1939, but already 22/4/1939 ordered was cancelled. Incomplete hulls were destroyed by Germans on slipways.
