Project history

Authorized in the 1953 programme, MTBs with a little ASW capability. Sonar domes offered considerable resistance at high speed. Nos 1 and 2 had wooden hulls, 3 and 4 aluminium alloy hulls and 5 and 6 steel hulls.

None.

Naval service

All were converted in 1970-1972 to Yard Craft Special Auxiliaries (YAS)
