Ship project history: Aubretia class sloops basically repeated earlier "Flower" classes but were outwardly similar to a small civil vessel. It have made for military-oriented concealment of the ship. They actually represented decoy vessels. In comparison with Arabis class, they were equipped with more powerful machinery and developed 17.5kts.

Modernizations: mid-1930s, Cornwallis: - 1 x 1 - 47/50; + 2 x 1 - 40/39 pompom

Naval service: Salvia and Tulip were torpedoed by Germans.
