Ship project history: Tunnel-screw type ships served on Mesopotamic front, acted on Tiger and Euphrates.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Firefly 1/12/1915 was captured by Turks but 26/2/1917 again has got to British and 14/6/1924 has been sunk by the Iraq rebels. Blackfly was lost 26/8/1923, having flown on a bridge footing in Baghdad.
