Project history

Increased version of LCT(1) type. Hull could been disassembled on 4 parts for transportation on large distances. LCT173 - 299 were cancelled 4.4.1941.

Modernizations

2 LCT were converted to AA ships of LCF(2) type:

Many LCT were converted to rocket ships LCT(R) with data as follows:

3200m rocket range was fixed.

Naval service

2 units were converted to LCF(2)-type AA support craft LCF1 and 2. Many units were converted to LCT(R)2-type rocket support craft.
