Project history

British destroyer Oribi of O class, transferred to Turkey after war instead of Gayret, lost under British flag as Ithuriel. She was rearmed before transfer (second TT bank was installed instead of 102mm/45 gun, 2 twin Oerlikons were replaced by single).
