Project history

Voted in 1961; two decks, bow planes on the sail and X-configured stern planes. 'Teardrop' hull shape, 5-blade propeller. Attack submarines, A11 type.

Modernizations

1984-1985, Sjöbjörnen: - IBS-A12 CCS; + IBS-A17 CCS

1984-1985, all: sonar became CSU-83
