Project history

Design of Wale class destroyers represented almost exact copy of destroyer Magne, built in 1905 by Thornycroft. More strong armament consisted of two 75mm and four 57mm (instead of six 57mm) guns became unique difference from a prototype.

Modernizations

1916, all: - 4 x 1 - 57/50, 2 x 1 - 450 TT; + 2 x 1 - 75/49 K/50 M05, 2 x 2 - 450 TT.

1940, all: - 1 x 1 - 75/49; + 2 x 1 - 25/55 K/58 M32, 1 x 2 - 8.76, 2 DCR

Naval service
