Project history

Former Romanian minelayer Amiral Murgescu, 5.9.1944 captured by Soviet troops at Constanza and 14.9.1944 commissioned by Soviet Navy as Don.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

2.4.1945 Don was converted to TS, 18.1.1947 to depot ship, 9.2.1948 to command ship; 7.5.1956 she was disarmed and converted to barrack ship PKZ-107, 4.1.1958 to repair vessel PM-76, since 8.6.1966 PMR-76. She was excluded from fleet list 27.5.1988, sold for scrap 4.7.1988.
