Ship project history: In 1944 in Galatz there was begun a building of four minesweepers of German M1940 type. Ships were commissioned only in 1953-1955 as escorts.

Modernizations: 1976-1983, all: VTE were replaced by 2 6KVD43A diesels (2400hp, 17kts, 156t of diesel oil); + 2 x 4 Strela-2 SAM launchers

Naval service: No significant events.
