Ship project history: Small cruiser, really large torpedo gunboat.

Ship protection: Protective deck was 43mm on the flat (tapered to 25mm at ship ends) and 86mm at the slopes.

Modernizations: 1907: armament consisted of 4 x 1 - 120/45 St. Chamond, 4 x 1 - 75/35 St. Chamond, 4 - 356 TT (1 bow, 2 beam, 1 stern)

Naval service: In 1916 Elisabeta was disarmed due to her old age and her guns were mounted ashore. After the war she was hulked and in 1930 scrapped.
