Project history

In 1921 Poland received two torpedo boats of former German Navy V105 and V108. In due time these ships have been ordered in Germany by Dutch Navy (a class included four ships), but after the beginning of the First World War they were confiscated and commissioned by Kaiserliche Marine. Mazur in 1931 was rebuilt to gunnery drill ship.

Modernizations

both ships were armed only with 2 x 1 - 47/40 Hotchkiss and 2 x 1 - 7.7/87 till 1924

1931, Mazur: - 2 x 1 - 450 TT; + 2 x 1 - 75/35 M1915-18

1935, Mazur: one boiler room with two boilers was removed (~2800hp, 20kts); - 1 x 1 - 75/35; + 1 x 1 - 40/39 2pdr QF Mk II, 1 x 2 - 13.2/76, 2 x 1 - 13.2/76
