Ship project history: Increased version of Varg class torpedo boats with more powerful machinery and 23kts speed. One TT was placed on turning mount on an upper deck, second was immovable in a bow. To the Second World War beginning they have ultimately become outdated.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Ravn were scuttled by crew 18/4/1940 in the Lyngör-fjord at Arendal. Ørn 9/4/1940 was captured by German troops in Horten and commissioned by Germans as Schlange, after war in May, 1945 was returned to Norway, immediately stricken and broken up next year.
