Ship project history: Ex-French torpedo boat of 600t type. She was captured by British 3/7/1940 during operation "Catapult", transferred to Dutch Navy 31/8/1940, but because of problems with a machinery actually not entered service.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Bouclier was returned to RN 12/1/1941 and immediately transferred to FNFL.
