Project history

Ordered in 1941 to American and Canadian builders  for service in colonies. Repetition of TM51 type with more powerful motors. In the beginning of 1943 TM32 and 35-37 were requisitioned by Americans and commissioned by USN as PT368-371; then TM34 was renamed TM32.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Any MTB has not had time to enter service before fall of the Dutch East Indies, therefore they served mainly as aircraft rescue launches in Caribbean sea.

TM26 and 33 in 1944 were transferred to Australia where they were used as patrol boats PMB26 and 33 until discarding in May 1946.
