Ship project history: Former Russian armoured MGB Bars built in 1919 in Motovilikha (Perm) for White Kama flotilla. 6/1/1920 she was captured by Reds in Krasnoyarsk and transferred to Amur. 22/10/1922 boat received damages during a storm on lake Khanka and was abandoned by crew. She was salvaged by Chineses, in 1932 transferred to Manchukuo and commissioned in 1933 after repair. Japanese name was Kokonoe.
