Ship project history: Launches were built in 1933-1934, assembled by Kawasaki in Harbin, launched 23/7/1934. Japanese names were Ryoga 1 and 2.

    Besides, Manchurian Sungari flotilla had armoured motor gunboats Hai Tiang (22/8/1945 captured by Soviet troops), Hai Yuang (scuttled by crew 10/8/1945 or captured by Soviet armoured motor gunboats 15/8/1945), Kiang Ning and Kiang Tsing (both were discarded before 1945).
