Project history

Four modified versions of the RN 'Brave' class were ordered in October 1964 and shipped out from England in 1967. P150 achieved 57kts on trials. Generally similar to the RN craft but the hull was made of bonded wood, as in the private-venture boat Ferocity. Air conditioned quarters. Another improvement was the provision of cruising diesels on the wing shafts to improve endurance.
