Former USN wooden-hulled YMS type coastal minesweepers.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Gangwha went to North Korea in 1949. Gapyeong was mined in September 1950. Gayasan was lost in 1949. Gyeongsan grounded and damaged beyond repair in February 1948. Gonju was mined in October 1950. Gowon went to North Korea in 1948.
