Project history

Minelayers for bases and ports defence. Design was created on the basis of trawler. Built under the 1940 programme.

Naval service

Ма2 was lost 31.12.1942 on Dutch mine in Surabaya harbour. Ма4 was sunk 20.11.1944 by British submarine Tally Ho S off Car Nicobar. Ма1 27.3.1945 was lost on a mine laid by British submarine Porpoise off Belawan (Sumatra).
