Ship project history: Former Philippine MTB QIII of British construction, scuttled by crew in May, 1942 in Cavite. Enlarged version of the CMB 55ft. Wooden hull, reached 41kts on trials. Boat was salvaged by Japanese and after repair commissioned in 1943.
