Ship project history: Large "colonial" gunboat, served as dispatch vessel.

Naval service: Sebastiano Caboto was scuttled 9/9/1943 on shallow water at Rhodes by own crew to avoid capture, captured by Germans 12/9/1943 and sunk at the same place by British bombers this month being repaired.
