Ship project history: Former Austro-Hungarian river armoured boat Csuka. Since 1920 she was a part of the Hungarian Danube flotilia as Siofok and 24/7/1929 was sold to Austria as Birago. 23/3/1938 after Anschlüß she was commissioned by Germans.
