Ship project history: Ex-Norwegian fishery protection vessel was captured by Germans 09 April 1940 but sunk by British aircraft 4 days later. She was salvaged in September 1940 and repaired.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Löwe was returned to Norway after war, commissioned again as Senja, sold mercantile in 1954 and used as cargo vessel till 1975.
