Ship project history:  Fishery trawlers, ordered to Dutch shipbuilders by Soviet Union and purchased by Kriegsmarine during building and commissioned as patrols.

Modernizations: 1944, all survived: - 1 x 1 - 20/65; + 1 x 4 - 20/65 C/38

Naval service: V316 was torpedoed by Allied aircraft 25/9/1943 off Kamperduin (Camperdown) and ran aground S off Den Helder. V2016 was torpedoed by British MTBs 2/11/1944 off Hook van Holland. V718 was mined after 21/2/1944 off Lorient. UJ1118 was bombed by Allied aircraft 6/3/1945 at Sassnitz. V720 and V721 were sunk by gunfire of British boats 23/8/1944 at Audierne.
