Project history

Former Italian destroyer Antonio Pigafetta of Navigatori class. 11.9.1943 she was captured by German troops at Fiume and 14.10.1944 commissioned as TA44.

Naval service

TA44 was lost 17.2.1945 at raid of British aircraft to Trieste.
