Ship project history: Ex-Italian destroyer Corsaro (till July, 1943 Squadrista), 2nd series of Soldati class. 9/9/1943 she was captured incomplete by German troops at Leghorn ant towed for completion to Genoa. Conversion of the ship to night fighter direction ship with Freya radar and 3 quadruple 20mm MGs was planned, but then there was begun re-conversion to torpedo boat. Never commissioned: 4/9/1944 TA33 during trials was sunk by American aircraft at Genoa.
