Modernizations

to 1940, all: ASW armament consisted of 4 DCT, 1 DCR (10)

Naval service

Ch1 and Ch4 were scuttled at Toulon 27.11.1942, both were salvaged by Germans. Ch1 was sunk by Allied aircraft 6.8.1944, Ch4 served under German flag as UJ6077 and was sunk by Allied aircraft 5.7.1944.
