Ship project history: First French inter-war submarine chasers.
Modernizations: to 1940, all: ASW armament consisted of 4 DCT, 1 DCR (10)
Naval service: Ch1 and Ch4 were scuttled at Toulon 27/11/1942, both were salvaged by Germans. Ch1 was sunk by Allied aircraft 6/8/1944, Ch4 served under German flag as UJ6077 and was sunk by Allied aircraft 5/7/1944.
