Project history

Replacements for the Attack class, built to Brooke Marine's PCF-420 design. Five more boats (Ballarat, Mildura, Armidale, Bundaberg, Pirie) were cancelled in 1982.

Modernizations

1990s, all: Dorman 12JTM diesel and central shaft were removed; - type 1006 radar; + BridgeMaster-E radar
