Project history

Former USN Sotoyomo class tugs, later used by Armada Argentina as patrols. Sanaviron was also used as survey vessel.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

Comodoro Somellera was rammed and sunk by patrol ship Suboficial Castillo at Ushuaia in August 1998, later salved but not repaired.
