Ship project history: First monitors with 15`` artillery and diesel motors. Trying to place charging and shell rooms, not increasing ship draught, a turret was necessary to raise on 5.2m over a deck. A weak place of monitors became unsuccessful diesels built for tankers. As a result "Marshals" have appeared slow-speed and badly manouvered. These lacks have compelled to demount a turret in early 1916 from Marshal Ney and to transfer it to new-built Terror.

Protection: information will be added.
