Ship project history: The first monitors armed with heavy guns, which were built a long-term break. Main turrets were ordered for Greek battleship Salamis, and put from the USA. Their main lack was weak machnery and, accordingly, slow speed which has appeared significantly below design 10 units.

Protection:    There were bulges in role of underwater Protection.

Modernizations: 1915 - early 1916, all: funnel uprising; - 2 x 1 - 76/50; + 2 x 1 - 76/50 QF Mk I HA
